New Hope Kids

Guiding the Next Generation to Know, Love, and Live for Jesus

Welcome to Kids Ministry!

New Hope Kids is committed to creating safe environments where children from birth through 5th grade can grow in faith, build friendships, and discover the love of Jesus in fun and engaging ways.

Whether it’s through worship, Bible stories, or hands-on activities, every Sunday is crafted to help kids take their next step in building a relationship with Jesus.

What to Expect on Sundays

Kids Ministry spaces are open at 9:00 AM during Bible Studies and at 10:30 AM during Worship Service.

We have four main spaces:
Nursery (Birth–2 Years) —

A nurturing environment with loving volunteers

Preschool (3–5 Years) —
Fun, play-based learning with simple Biblical truths.

Elementary (1st–5th Grade) —
High-energy worship, teaching, and small group time that helps kids apply God’s Word to everyday life.

The Bridge (Special Needs) —
A safe environment with experience volunteers

Thursdays: 6:15-8:30 PM (Registration must be completed by Tuesday at 5:00 PM)

Your Child's Safety Matters

Your children’s safety is our top priority. Kids are checked in before service at one of our Kids Check-In Areas, where you will receive matching security tags to ensure your child’s safety.

  • We use a secure check-in and pick-up system.
  • All volunteers must complete an application, including references and background checks.
  • At least two volunteers are required to be with children at all times.
  • Allergies or special needs? Let us know—we partner with you to ensure your child is cared for and included.

Parent FAQ

Every week, kids engage in fun, Bible-based teaching, worship, and small group activities. Our goal is to help them know God, love His Word, and grow in their faith in a way they can understand.
Because the protection of children is our top priority, we have many procedures in place to ensure everyone has a safe and fun time at New Hope Kids. Upon check-in, your child will be given a name tag to wear at all times, and you will receive a matching guardian tag for pick-up. Only the person with the matching tag is allowed to pick up your child, and if you lose your receipt, our New Hope Kids leadership team will check your driver’s license with the list of approved guardians in your file.

Additionally, every New Hope Kids volunteer must complete an application, which includes references and a background check. We do not allow children and adults to be one-on-one, and at least two volunteers are required to be with children at all times.
When you arrive, head to one of our check-in areas (birth-5 years is downstairs, 1st-5th grade is upstairs), where our kids team members will be available to help you get signed-up and checked-in. From registration to getting your child settled in their classroom, we’ll help you through the entire process.
We offer age-appropriate environments for:
  • Nursery – Birth-2 Years
  • Preschool – 3-5 Years
  • Elementary – 1st-5th Grade
  • The Bridge – Special Needs
In the event of any emergency, please remain calm and follow the directions given to you in the service. Our trained volunteers will move your children to a safe location. Your children may not be picked up until authorities give the all-clear signal. This allows our trained Safety and Security Team and Medical Emergency Response Team members to keep everyone safe.
If one of our team members need to contact you during service, we may contact you via text, or there is a number on your Guardian Ticket that will appear on the main screen in the Worship Center notifying you to come to our Kids areas.
Absolutely! At New Hope, we believe in waiting until children are old enough to express their own interest in following Jesus and getting baptized. If your child has asked Jesus into their life, we encourage you to begin having conversations about what baptism means.

Because we believe in the personal commitment of baptism, we do not participate in infant baptisms, but we invite and encourage parents to participate in one of our Child Dedications, signifying your desire to raise godly children and our commitment to supporting you as a church.

If your child is in the nursery, please bring a change of clothes, bottles or food (as appropriate for your child), and any comfort item such as a pacifier or blanket that may help soothe them.

We also have a room for nursing located near the Early Childhood check-in desk on the first floor. This room includes rockers, changing tables, and extra diapers. You can pick up your child at any time to nurse there, or you may nurse in the Family Room. Visit the Early Childhood desk for help locating these rooms.
