We pause together as a church family to reflect with gratitude and hope. The above video shares words of care and wisdom from our Elders, along with a heartfelt message from Steven Stern. This is a moment to honor faithful leadership, to remember the ways God has been at work among us, and to look ahead with trust in what He continues to do in and through our community.

We recognize that this announcement may stir a range of emotions. Even so, we rest in the assurance that God is not surprised by this moment. He remains sovereign, faithful, and at work. As a church, we are prayerfully seeking His wisdom and guidance as He leads us into this next season of ministry.

As Psalm 119:105 reminds us, God’s Word is “a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” We will go as the Holy Spirit leads.

Below, you will find responses to some questions you may have.

FAQs

Steven has spent time in prayer and discernment and believes this is the right moment to conclude this season of leadership. This decision has been made thoughtfully and with his wife. As Steven mentions in the video, he is taking a break from ministry on this size and scale and to find something more simple and sustainable.

The Elders will oversee leadership during this season and ensure continuity in preaching, pastoral care, and ministry. Plans for interim or future leadership will be shared as they are finalized.

We encourage you to pray for them, respect their privacy, and express gratitude for their years of faithful service. If you see him around, share a word of encouragement about how God has used him in your life.
At this time, staff roles and ministries will continue as planned. Any future updates will be communicated clearly and promptly.

We invite our body of believers to stay engaged, pray for wisdom for leadership, and continue serving faithfully as we walk through this season together.

If you have further questions or concerns, please reach out to an Elder or church leadership. We want to walk through this openly and together.
